00 . the short answer

straight answers, updated 8 september 2026.

01

how much does a custom app cost in bangkok?

A custom app build starts at USD 18,500 per phase, roughly THB 609,205 at 32.93, fixed price per sprint and never hourly. Sprints run 2 weeks for a productized integration, 6 weeks for a mid-size build like a booking system across four venues, and 12 weeks for fintech-grade production work. Scope and price lock before code starts, so no estimate gets revised at week 9.

02

how long does it take to build a custom app?

A custom app takes 6 to 14 weeks, delivered in phases, or a single sprint of 2, 6 or 12 weeks depending on scope. HorseTonic, a DTC supplement brand, went from WooCommerce to a live Next.js and Supabase storefront in 6 weeks. Every sprint locks scope and timeline in phase 0, before a line of code is written.

03

is your team actually in bangkok, or is the work offshored?

The work runs out of the DLVX studio in the Sukhumvit corridor in Bangkok, with a senior Thai partner, not a subcontracted body shop. UTC+7 means no handoff lag with your engineers, and site visits are part of the engagement. Same practice that built Jobfin for the Belgian federal finance ministry and shipped work for Daikin, Zalando and MediaMarkt.

01 . what it is

the service in detail.

stack: next.js, supabase and claudespeed: 2, 6 or 12 week sprints, production at the endprice: from usd 18,500, published, fixed per sprintownership: your repo, your billing, day one

bangkok runs on duct tape. line oa for messaging, flowaccount for the books, shopee and lazada and tiktok shop and line shopping pulling in four directions, a shopify or wix shop bolted on the side, and one google sheet holding the whole company together. when a founder finally needs a real product, this city offers three bad doors: a manila body shop that drifts, a thb 80,000 freelancer who vanishes at week five, or a 30-person agency that sells a deck and delivers in nine months. we are the fourth door. senior craft, price on the page, product in production.

read the full detail (3 more)

the stack is next.js, supabase and claude, and we have shipped 60+ platforms on it since 2021: daikin, zalando, mediamarkt, board of innovation, nemesis (awwwards site of the month), jobfin for the belgian federal finance ministry, horsetonic, epic, karman, smartein. that stack maps straight onto bangkok workloads: fintech onboarding, kyc and lending flows, hospitality booking layers, dtc commerce extensions, line oa customer service agents, marketplace pricing sync. aws in the region you choose, fly.io when the edge matters, vercel for the web tier.

sprints are the unit and the scope locks before anyone writes a line. 12 weeks for a series a fintech that needs underwriting v1 live by q4. 6 weeks for an expat f and b group that needs one booking system across four venues. 2 weeks for a thai dtc founder who needs the klaviyo, shopify and line oa seam that no thb 1,000 a month app will ever cover. price fixed at signature. no creep, no surprises, no revised estimate at week 9. agencies protect the estimate. we protect the ship date.

you own everything from the first commit. github repo under your org, supabase project under your billing, vercel team under your account, claude usage on your anthropic console. handover is the default state, not a line item at the end. we are the studio you can fire on a tuesday and still run on wednesday, and no other agency in this city writes that sentence down.

02 . who it is for

bangkok teams that get stuck here.

archetype 01

pim, series a fintech cto in phrom phong

60 employees, a build queue six months past headcount. the board wants kyc v2 for thai business onboarding, a lao expansion module and ai underwriting, all live by q4. her team ships one. we take one of the other two, deliver it in a 12-week sprint, hand the repo back, and her roadmap stops slipping. that is the whole trade.

archetype 02

james, expat f and b group, four venues

thonglor, ekkamai, phrom phong and a catering arm. one booking system across four google calendars, inventory that ties catering to venue stock, and a dashboard he can read on his phone at 6am on a saturday. 6 weeks, fixed price, a real production system instead of a fifth loyverse plugin duct taped to a spreadsheet.

archetype 03

min, thai dtc skincare founder in ari

shopify own-site plus shopee, lazada, tiktok shop and line shopping. she needs the seam where shopify apps give up: marketplace pricing sync, an ai agent answering on line oa, an upsell flow that actually converts. 2-week productized sprints, a number attached to each one. ai is the engine, never the headline.

06 . proof

07 . questions

what bangkok buyers ask first.

01

how fast do you ship?

productized sprints ship in 2 weeks. booking systems and dashboards for expat businesses ship in 6. fintech and saas production builds ship in 12 weeks per sprint. every sprint locks scope on day one, so the date you are given is the date you get. multi-sprint programmes run 4 to 6 months, enterprise 9 to 12.

02

are you physically in bangkok?

yes. we run a studio in the sukhumvit corridor with a senior thai partner, mameaw, and have since 2024. utc+7, no handoff lag, english first, site visits included in the engagement. brussels has been the european engineering hub since 2021. you get eu standards with a desk in your city, and almost nobody in bangkok offers both.

03

what about pdpa compliance?

pdpa is in the architecture, not in a policy pdf. purpose of processing stated explicitly, retention set per data category, consent flows documented, a data subject rights endpoint when volume calls for it, supabase rls enforcing access at row level. eu customers on a thai-hosted app get gdpr and eu ai act disclosures wired in alongside. we ship eu-regulated products for a living.

04

is it english or thai?

the engagement runs in english. product copy ships in en and th wherever the audience demands it, line oa workflows and thai customer flows included. your thai-fluent reviewers validate copy during phase 2. for expat-led firms, english only is completely fine.

05

can the build qualify for boi software promotion?

yes, for the right build. boi activity 8 covers software, digital platforms and digital content development, and our phase 0 deliverable tells you exactly where your product stands against it. the filing, thresholds and minimum investment go through your thai boi consultant or in-house counsel. we hand them a spec they can actually submit.

06

how does payment work?

usd primary on the invoice with the thb equivalent shown at 32.93. stripe usd, wise usd, or thai bank transfer in thb. terms: 50/50 under usd 25k, 30/40/30 at usd 25k and above. every number is on this page before you ever get on a call.

07

what if i hire a freelancer on upwork instead?

go ahead, try it first. when the spec drifts and two months are gone, we are still here. we live exactly where freelancers underdeliver and 30-person agencies overcharge: senior craft, fixed sprint price, real product shipped, code you own. 60+ platforms since 2021, daikin and zalando and mediamarkt and jobfin behind us, and a studio on sukhumvit.

08

how much does a custom app cost in bangkok?

A custom app build starts at USD 18,500 per phase, roughly THB 609,205 at 32.93, fixed price per sprint and never hourly. Sprints run 2 weeks for a productized integration, 6 weeks for a mid-size build like a booking system across four venues, and 12 weeks for fintech-grade production work. Scope and price lock before code starts, so no estimate gets revised at week 9. Every price is published on the page.

09

how long does it take to build a custom app?

A custom app takes 6 to 14 weeks, delivered in phases, or a single sprint of 2, 6 or 12 weeks depending on scope. HorseTonic, a DTC supplement brand, went from WooCommerce to a live Next.js and Supabase storefront in 6 weeks. Every sprint locks scope and timeline in phase 0, before a line of code is written, and DLVX has shipped 60+ platforms on that stack since 2021.

10

is your team actually in bangkok, or is the work offshored?

The work runs out of the DLVX studio in the Sukhumvit corridor in Bangkok, with a senior Thai partner, not a subcontracted body shop. UTC+7 means no handoff lag with your engineers, and site visits are part of the engagement. This is the same practice that built Jobfin, the careers platform the Belgian federal finance ministry hires through, and shipped work for Daikin, Zalando and MediaMarkt.

11

what do i actually get when the build is done?

Production code in your own GitHub repo from the first commit, a Supabase project and Vercel team under your billing, a 12 to 25 page technical spec, and a 20 page handover manual with a deployment runbook. Then 90 days of post-launch care: a bug fix SLA, two tuning passes and one new integration on request. You can fire DLVX on a Tuesday and still be running on Wednesday.

12

custom app or no-code, which one should i build on?

Go custom the moment the no-code patchwork buckles under real volume: Shopify apps stitched to LINE OA, Shopee and Lazada, with a Google Sheet holding it together. DLVX builds on Next.js and Supabase, the stack behind 60+ shipped platforms including work for Daikin, Zalando and MediaMarkt, so there is no no-code wall to tear down in two years and the code sits in your repo the whole time.

13

should i hire a freelancer or an agency to build my app?

Hire whoever will still be there at week 9. A THB 80,000 freelancer is cheap and disappears mid-build. A 30-person Bangkok agency is slow, deck-led and expensive. DLVX is the middle nobody else occupies: one senior team with no juniors and no handoffs, fixed sprint price published on the page, code you own from day one, and production cases like HorseTonic, Enky and Jobfin.

14

does a bangkok custom build qualify for boi promotion?

Often, yes. BOI Activity 8 covers software, digital platforms and digital content development, and the DLVX phase 0 deliverable tells you exactly where your build stands against it. The incentives, thresholds, minimum investment and submission run through your Thai BOI consultant or in-house counsel, who get a spec written well enough to file.

15

is pdpa compliance built in, or is it extra work later?

PDPA is built into the architecture, never bolted on after launch. Explicit purpose of processing in the privacy notice, retention settings per data category, documented consent flows, a data subject rights endpoint when volume warrants it, and Supabase RLS policies enforcing access at row level. For EU customers on a Thai-hosted app, GDPR and EU AI Act disclosures are wired in alongside, because DLVX ships EU-regulated products every year.

01
